Abstract

Among the two conventional immuno diagnostic tests namely IHA and IDT employed for mass screening of Sarcocystosis infection in buffaloes, the IHA test has proved to be highly sensitive, more reliable, economical and less time consuming. The lowest and highest titres recorded were 1:2 to 1:256 respectively with an overall incidence of 92.59%. The immuno diagnostic studies for humoral immune response for precipitins did not reveal any precipitation bands in the sera tested by immune diffusion test.
