VARIABILITY IN IMMUNOGLOBULIN LEVELS EROM BIRTH TO TWELVE WEEKS OF AGE IN SURTI BUEEALOES
K. C. Raghavan and A. V. Rai
The pre-colostral serum was found to be having traces of Ig. After colostral feeding the level had gone up with a mean peak value of 9.777+1.336 at 20 hours after birth. The level decreased upto 2 weeks which again increased upto twelve weeks of age, probably due to the synthesis of immunoglobulins in Calf's system.
