Abstract

One hundred and twenty seven aninnals were treated for endomerritis based on results of atrtibiotic sensitivity tests carried out with. uterine discharge. Gentamicin, Chloramphenicol, Co-trimoxazole and Furazolidone were utilized for treatment both by intramuscular and intrauterine
routes. Statistical analysis of the data on conception rates after treatment showed no significant difference among treatment groups except to trimoxazole treated group which was significant. The data on comparative effect of intramuscular and intrauterine routes of administration showed that both routes are equally effective in counteracting endometritis.
