Abstract


Ochratoxin A was experinrentally fed to Japanese quails and the histologic and ultrastructured charges were studied. Histologic changes included engorged blood vessels with swollen and vacuolated endothelium Focal oedema in brain with pyknosis and karyorrhexis Ulirastructrally brain tissue showed vacuolation and fragmentation of perineuronal elements.Cytoplasm of ueurons showed mild organellar changes.
